This is a story about a thief who steals only to bring justice when the law doesn't. This thief is called Smoke by the media and is known as that throughout the criminal world also. Everyone believes Smoke is a man. No one has seen Smoke before so they really don't know, they just assume. Devon Paxton is Smoke. She's a beautiful spitfire redhead with her own mind and feminist beliefs. Despite her tragic life she's optimistic but still doesn't think that love is out there for her. FBI Special Agent Brian Shields is trying to capture Smoke becuase he believes she will be able to help him in his pending investigation. His only problem is that he's looking for a man that no one's ever knowingly seen. He gets further in his investigation, only to be involved in a shooting where he is saved by Smoke. The bullet that would have gone through his heart goes through Smoke's right shoulder. When they pull off the mask they are all surprised to find a woman, let alone a beautiful one. After she is attended to medically Devon is released into FBI custody. Despite her injuries she attempts to escape only to be brought back by Brian. 'Later,' She vows, 'When I can run and hide I'll escape.' And escape she does. A master of disguise she can dissapear quickly and quietly and isn't heard from for almost a year. Shields has gotten smarter, though, and soon finds her. Together they work to bring down a band of gem smugglers...

Prologue The only sound that came from the eerie silence was the sound of her boots as she sauntered forward, taunting. She got close enough for me to see her face. Wild, black eyes staring straight into my face daring me to speak. Her mouth was parted slightly showing perfect white teeth that looked sharp enough to tear your flesh open. Blood was smeared on the corners of her mouth, and I knew from that second that it was mine. She made to move closer to me but a voice, rang out, breaking the silence telling her to stop. Her hard, cold hand grabbed onto mine and was putting large amounts of pressure on it. I thought for sure that my hand was going to break. The door opened to reveal the dark haired beauty. The wind from the door blew towards us and her snow, blonde hair blew towards me. Her wavy hair blew out around her blocking him from view. The amount of pressure escaladed and all I remember seeing before blacking out is a foot being thrust into the hair and a shrill scream. And I knew for sure that I was going to die.

Following a group of rebels in the final stages of overthrowing the government in a distopian future. The story then covers their struggles to create the democratic utopian society they had invisaged and the threat of counterrevolution is always in the background. A new take on the distopian future genre where ideologies, the desire for constant change and the role of anarchy in society are all examined.

Yes you can say that I'm in love with someone I was never meant to fall in love with. Well....I can fall in love with him, he's just someone I could never fall in love with. He's a super star and I'm not just saying that, really, he has a grade A platinum pop star/ 2 time winning Oscar winner. With all the traveling he's doing and the music videos and whatnot, with all the fan girls that come up to us, what in the craznogs am I going o do with him like that! A truthful account of challenges growing up small town America: son of a preacher Man, immoral college experience, married, divorced, encumbered progression of life. A depiction of an emotional/spiritual struggle in my search for truth... right or wrong / happiness or lack off. Detailed accounts of things I have done , been part off, seen... nothing held back. In a nut shell, it's going to be epic of misogyny, perversion, dipsomaniacal philandering intertwined with brief moments of clarity/ self actualization only to be suffocated by self destruction. The book will not only be about life in a spiritual cave but the progression and triumph of a new line of thinking, importance of family, loss of self reliance and coming of a new identity...

I never saw the water. I saw the night overtake me as I jumped and then I was cold. I was cold on the outside but felt nothing inside. As I became numb and the salt water waves thrashed my borderline-comatose body I felt hands pulling me. Three hands then four, now five were dragging my useless frame. My brain flickered like a glitchy computer screen as cold fiberglass was slapped against my face. I was in a boat. Someone saved me from the torment of my physical form. Looking out from nothingness, I saw faces that were blank. The salt water had battered me, but my body was cleansed. For all that I endured in the cold waters, risking the abyss of cruel animal feeding at the bottom of the ocean and a Sailors worst death; I had been saved the trouble of washing the blood from my body. Carbon copied onto my soul, I felt the blood fill the cracks and I was whole. Having fought it my entire life, I felt complete and at peace with myself. What an amazing opportunity to soul search. Suddenly my life had purpose and value. As the salt water mimicked tears I did not possess for souls I did not mourn, I smiled at my accomplishments and fell asleep. Sleep as I had not had in my entire life. Suddenly the world had endless possibilities in such an awakening. And so I slept.

Main Characters - Lyle and Rob. Lyle is a professional thief and blackmailer. He blackmails Rob into working with him, and they proceed to steal art and valuable things while avoiding the police. There are mentions that they've both been in prison before, but that's not the focus. Keep an eye on Rob slowly getting angrier and more desperate as time goes on - Lyle grates on his personality. Show several of their exploits, and finally work Rob into setting a trap and trying to get Lyle to give up the secret that keeps Rob stuck with him. Lyle will win - for the now. Meanwhile, Rob's wife has hired someone to track Rob down, and Lyle has noticed. Run with the idea from there.

A woman awakens after an accident with no identity, only haunting memories of being tortured and killed. She investigates but discovers that she is a serial killer in a rehabilitation center for the dead that erases the memories of criminals and replaces them with the painful experiences of their victims. The Woman is in an upright position, almost standing. We can not see her face, it's blurry.She has ropes tied to each of her limbs. Her veins and muscles are protruding as her body is being stretched to almost its breaking point. Her white undershirt and panties are soaked wet with sweat. Her mouthis bleeding at its corner. We notice that the room has a small camera and speakers attached to the upper portion of one of the walls. She opens her eyes. There are mirrors aligned along the walls. She is able to see herself from various angles. There is a large poster of a fat man in a purple suit holding a microphone. He is smiling at her. A crackling sound is heard from the speaker, and then a voice.

Nicole and Michael Smith are orphans who were found in the streets by a professor named Albert. He provides them with all their needs. Albert always hid something from the them in a room where they were forbidden to enter.This made them curious. Soon after Albert is murdered, the Smiths decide to go into the forbidden room. They find a compass-like object. Nicole brings this compass with her where ever she goes. She decides to go back to the room and search for clues of what the compass really is. She finds out that it is really a time machine. She starts to abuse its power, not thinking of the consequences. She notices that every time she time travels, the arm slightly moves in a clockwise motion. While all this is happening, many robberies begin to occur around town. Evidence shows that all the robberies are done by the same person. While the Smith siblings are asleep, the robber comes to the house and robs the compass. When Nicole finds out that the compass is missing, she begins to search everywhere. She searched everyday for 3 months, with no luck. One night, Nicole dreamed that she was traveling through time. When she awoke, she tried many times to travel through time without the compass. Finally, she traveled. As she was traveling, she saw another man in between timelines. She approaches the man but he travels into world war II. Nicole follows him and finds him in an old church that was destroyed during the war. The man had nowhere to go so he fought her...
