In a land inhabited by fairies, anything is possible, except finding true love. The fairies are happy, productive, friendly and harmonious, however they all feel a need to love and be loved. Whenever they try to show the emotions associated with love, they are severely punished by the Fairy Queen, Eskira. The Fairy Queen was the first to inhabit the land and so, set the rules for all who fell under her rule. She is an unmistakably kind fairy, however, because of a heartache that never healed long ago, she cast a spell that made fairies and elves unable to experience love. She thinks that she's doing them all a favour by sparing them the hurt she experienced, but little does she know the importance of love. Of course the fairies complain and eventually, revolt against her. This causes all the opposite of love: anger, hatred, disgust, envy, greed, hedonism, etc. The Fairy Queen realizes that a world without love is ugly, dangerous and unpleasant, so she casts a spell that reverses her previous one. The fairies and elves learn to love and Queen Eskira, though never finding a soulmate, gains the respect and love of her followers.

#59 | Romance published on August 16, 2008 in English
The clear night was a chilling reminder of the day's deeds. A young girl walked along the lake now, her blonde hair waving softly in the wind. Tears and blood soaked her clothes and face. Her left arm broken and twisted at a disgusting angle. This girl was beaten, raped, and killed. All in the course of 15 mintues between four teenage boys. She cried softly, to anyone who would listen. The cold snow set in for the night as she faded from veiw. This was my life... Finding souls like her, and figuring out what happened to them. My job started long ago, when I myself was a child. The truth to say, I was a infant; born to be given a gift from God that ran through my family's blood line. It was a sickening fact... I was a psychic. To be who I was born to be, I had to become something strong, and unafraid of the real world--both paranormal and living. It was a fact of life I accepted... with a fight. My story can be considered sad, and tearful for the sesitive to illness and lost loved ones. But I see it has my dear friend letting go of the living, where we were so bound by our mortal bodies that we could do nothing to help the spirits of the living. Scared and quiet, I watched as he slipped away to help the previous generations. I was scared, of course, but this did not mean--oh my. I'm getting beyond the purpose of this story. If you do want to know more about the dreadful night read until the end...

#56 | Children's published on July 26, 2008 in Српски
U prijatnoj junskoj večeri skakuće on držeći za ruke očeve roditelje. "U noći piramida...u noći piramida...u noći"... izgovara sporo, pevljivo, osluškuje i sluti sledeću pogodnu reč. Šta to pokreće njegov nežni duh?

#53 | Mystery published on April 8, 2008 in English
Valerie, a 19-year-old girl, begins to notice that she's been having a lot of dreams each night. She's not sure what it is (if it is the midnight snacks or the lack of sleep that's causing the dreams). They are usually bizarre, however some are frightening and cause her to wake up in a sweat. A few weeks go by when she notices peculiar article in the newspaper. It seems strikingly similar to one of her dreams. She shrugs it off and just believes it to be a coincidence, but is it really or are there other forces at play here? Week after week, she is astounded and full of anxiety every time she picks up the newspaper. Usually the first few sections correspond to a dream she had the night before. It's almost as though she's become psychic, however, Valerie was never one to believe in such entertainment. Even though she's denying her unusual abilities, deep down inside, she's insecure, scared and full of guilt. Even though Valerie has nothing to do with all the horrendous things in the articles she reads, she somehow feels responsible for causing all the suffering in the world. Eventually, the guilt is so severe that she cannot take it anymore. She finally confides in her parents, however, they believe that it's just a strange coincidence and that their daughter is being utterly ridiculous. Frustrated and nervous, Valerie seeks professional help from a psychologist, as she seems to be unable to function properly and finds herself worrying and dreading the next day...

#51 | Mystery published on April 5, 2008 in English
The things that can be known a priori can be named, but they can not be reduced. They are atomic concepts and the naming and defining of them are the same thing. The room had the darkening light of dusk and incandescance mixed. The remaining conversations were relaxed and slow. It was a time for putting on of coats, and for feet on desks. The conversers had all had conciousness dawn on them gradually, and expected it to leave them gradually. “It’s happening”, was the sudden exclamation of one of them, as he began swiftly removing the jacket he’d just buttoned up. From every corner of the room those who were yet to leave converged on him and his computer screen. Together they watched the birth of a new conciousness, fully intelligent. It begins with a mode. The first thought is nonsense - static from the primordial chaos that still rages, unchecked everywhere, but the mode tries to interpret it. That first Thought is unique to all conciousnesses birthed with full intelligence, it is usually impenetrable, insoluble, but they hold it to themselves as the icon of their existence. It is their name. The second Thought is an observation. There are Thoughts. At this stage, nothing more can be said about them but their existence. Knowing what they are isn’t important. The thought is only that they are. The third Thought is the first exercise of imagination. For a Thought to exist, there must be a Thinker...
